Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Conveyor Belt Service, Inc. ("CBS," "we," "us," or "our") handles information for CBS Hub and the optional CBS Hub employee schedule text-message program. The program provides operational notifications to current employees about published work assignments, schedule changes, reassignments, removals, and cancellations.

2. Information we collect

For the schedule-notification program, we may collect and maintain:

• Employee name, employee identifier, and mobile phone number.
• SMS enrollment status and records of consent, opt-out, and re-enrollment.
• Work-assignment details needed to create a notification, such as date, time, shift type, job number, customer, and a short shift title.
• Message records, including the event type, time queued or sent, delivery status, provider message identifier, and failure information.
• Security and audit information used to protect CBS Hub and document administrative actions.

We do not use emergency-contact phone numbers for schedule notifications.

3. How we use information

We use this information to operate and secure CBS Hub, send employee-requested schedule notifications, show managers whether a message was queued or delivered, honor STOP and HELP requests, troubleshoot delivery, maintain business and compliance records, and prevent misuse or duplicate messages.

Schedule texts are transactional workforce communications only. We do not use the program to send marketing or promotional messages.

4. When information is shared

We may provide the minimum information needed to service providers that help us operate CBS Hub and deliver messages, including our SMS platform, telecommunications carriers, hosting providers, and security vendors. These providers may use the information only to perform services for CBS or as required by law.

We do not sell or rent personal information. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except vendors supporting delivery of the messaging service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to protect the rights, safety, or security of CBS, employees, or others; or in connection with a business reorganization where applicable privacy obligations continue.

5. SMS choices and disclosures

• Participation is optional, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment.
• Message frequency varies based on published assignments and schedule changes.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out of future schedule texts. Reply START to request re-enrollment after opting out, subject to CBS approval and applicable provider rules.

Opting out of SMS does not change an employee's work assignment. Employees remain responsible for using normal CBS communication procedures to confirm schedules or report that they cannot work an assignment.

6. Retention and security

We retain consent, opt-out, scheduling, message, and audit records for legitimate operational, security, recordkeeping, and legal purposes. Retention periods may vary by record type. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, but no system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Access and corrections

Current employees may ask CBS to review or correct the mobile number associated with schedule notifications or to disable SMS notifications. Some records may be retained where required for security, audit, legal, or compliance purposes.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as CBS Hub, our notification practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate company channel.
